Dr. Bryan Pope left his Midwest roots to attend and graduate
from Boston University School of Dentistry in 1996. After
completing a one-year of hospital based residency, Dr. Pope
opened a private practice focusing on providing the highest
level of comprehensive dental care. While in private practice,
Dr. Pope’s interest in and aptitude for periodontics and
dental implants began to grow and he made the difficult decision
to leave private practice and pursue specialty training. In
2001, Dr. Pope graduated from the periodontal / implant graduate
residency program at the University of Washington in Seattle,
WA. While there, he received his masters and completed several
dental implant studies with some of the world’s leading
clinical researchers. He received the California Society of
Periodontics Research Award for his research of dental implants.
Dr. Pope joined Peninsula Periodontal Associates in the summer
of 2001.
Dr. Pope is a board-certified Periodontist who is an expert at the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease as well as the reconstruction of lost teeth, utilizing dental implants. He is currently involved in ongoing dental implant research and development of new technologies. Dr. Pope utilizes the latest in 3D imaging and CAD/CAM technologies to provide precise and predictable implant reconstruction. He lectures on these technologies and the superior outcomes they can provide.
Dr. Pope is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, American and California Dental Associations, California Society of Periodontists, Western Society of Periodontology, Institute of Dental Implant Awareness, Society of Contemporary and Progressive Periodontics, San Mateo County Dental Society.
Dr. Pope most enjoys spending time with is wife, Julie and their three children. He also enjoys the hiking, golfing, skiing and cooking.
